Couples Session Guide

Yessss. I absolutely can’t wait to meet you and your boo.

So stoked to start creating some amazing moments with you two! If you can’t tell already, my couples sessions are my fav. If you’re a little nervous or don’t know what to expect, don’t worry! I gotchu. Dive into this guide to help ease your worries and help you prepare for this special day shooting with me!

Let’s make some GIFs!

Making GIFs or moving photos is something that can really add to your gallery!

This process does take preparation so please be sure to let me know before your scheduled shoot if you would like to add them on. On the shoot I plan out the poses with you and take multiple photos in order to compose and document these special moments!
Some have asked if it is possible to make a GIF after their session but this is not possible if we didn’t create one during the shoot so please let me know ahead of time and we can plan for it!

What should we wear?

I know how difficult it can be to find that perfect outfit for the two of you! My best advice would be to stay simple and find colors that won’t distract or take away from the overall photo. Neutral, earthy tones match well with our beautiful scenery here in Hawai’i. Wear outfits that you absolutely love and feel comfortable in.

If you’re dying to wear an outfit that is “over the top” in some photos, (which I’m all for!) be sure to have your partner wear an outfit or colors that will compliment your one statement outfit. You can bring a separate outfit after that. I am totally fine with 2-3 outfit changes! (Anything more may require more time)
