From when the moment you contact me, I’m fully engaged with you and your story. I know you’re out here seeking to find that perfect person that will document this important moment in your life. I put my heart into my work and my only desire is to capture photos that will move you, your family and others looking in from the outside. These photos I capture will be ones that will last a lifetime.
Over the years I’ve found myself falling more in love with the process of photography. It is an emotional art. One that can never be duplicated twice. That indescribable feeling of combining the beauty of nature and people inspires me each and every day to go out photograph you in the most rawest form. The laughs, the tears, the love.
I am here to listen to your stories, your why’s, and what you envision for your shoot. Ever since I started this business, I met so many amazing people that turned into friends. I’ve watched families grow and had the honor of being a part of such pivotal moments in peoples’ lives. I hope I can be that person for you one day.
This is more than just “photos” to me… These are moments frozen in time to tell your story… Let’s do this thing.
FAQ.
How long are your sessions?
I love being able to get to know you, chat and capture your photos at the same time. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for you. One that feels relaxed and comfortable. My sessions usually run an hour and I’m able to get all the shots needed but if we need that extra 30 minutes to get the last shots then I’m all for it. Let me know if you think you need more time than this and we can plan accordingly.
(Single person portrait sessions are 45 minutes)
How many photos can I expect?
With regular sessions you will receive 50 photos. Weddings and elopements will really depend on how many hours you book but most of the time it will be a minimum of 200-700. You can be sure that I will capture every single moment and send out the best to you!
(For single person portrait sessions, you will receive 25 photos)
How will my photos be delivered to me?
Your photos will be delivered to you in a beautiful Online Gallery in which you’ll be able to download all of your photos in high resolution. You will also be able to share your gallery and purchase prints through your personal gallery.
Do you give out RAW files?
As I mentioned, I view my photographs as art and the editing process is what really brings the photos to life therefore I do not provide RAW files. I trust that you will book me for the love of my edits and how my photos are presented.
Blemishes? Photoshop?
I totally know how it is! A pimple comes out of no where and your photoshoot is this week. I’m all about fixing blemishes or taking out objects in photos that may be distracting. If we capture close up photos you can be reassured that I can smoothen out blemishes and skin. As far as photoshop goes, I am all about embracing self! I do not go into heavy photoshop editing that will totally alter the original photos but if you’d like something specific we can definitely discuss!
I’m not sure what to wear…
No problem at all! I can send over some tips and suggestions! Just let me know in your submission form for more info.
Help! I need help with posing.
Being in front of the camera might sound a little intimidating, but don’t worry! I will guide you on how to pose, what to do and I will adjust you along the way. I promise that you’ll feel comfortable with me! We’ll have fun and I just want you to be yourself! :)
I’m having a hard time with choosing a location.
Here in Hawai’i there are SO many beautiful locations to choose from so I totally understand how hard it is to choose! I’ve listed some of my top locations in a link so please contact me for more info.
Am I allowed to do outfit changes?
Yes! I love switching up the vibe with outfit changes. Two outfits usually fit in nicely within the timeframe. Even if we’re at a location that is further away from your car or a restroom, you can always bring a bag along and change in a hidden spot!
I see that your family sessions will only include my immediate family. Are there additional costs for others?
Yes, there is an additional fee. This may also require more time to capture everyone and you can add on additional time to your session. Contact for more details.
Do you require a deposit?
There is a $150 deposit required for regular sessions and this will be credited to your total balance. There is $500 deposit for Elopements and $1,000 for Weddings. This is also credited towards your total balance. These deposits ensure that your date is locked in my calendar just for you!
When do I have to pay in full?
For regular sessions, your balance is due 7 days before your session. For weddings and elopements, your balance is due 14 days before the day of your event. I do accept payments in increments if needed!
